Artist's Statement
I feel as though I have been creating art since I was born but I was especially aware of the art world after a good friend introduced me to Gauguin and Van Gogh when I was about eleven years old. She always had something creative going on in her home and she was a great inspiration to me. My education is in the Arts, and I have an MFA but it is in the two dimensional forms.

Jewelry making is relatively new to me. I have been taking classes off and on for three years. I now have a passion for metals. I love taking a flat piece of metal and being able to bend it and twist it like a ribbon.

My latest pieces are enameled copper which I twist and attempt to make into a vine-like necklace. Rocks and stones are also dear to me and can often be seen making their way into my metal work.

I hope to continue making jewelry art and growing with each piece.
