How do I know that? Well, I can spend hours making glass beads or cooking silver and copper to bend to my will, and completely lose track of time. I am thrilled by customers who come up to my booth and constantly express their enthusiasm for m y work. I am honored to hear that someone wore a piece of mine to a job interview to give her self confidence, and that a young girl wears the bracelet that she bought last year almost every day. Jewelry isn't magic, it's just stuff. But, sometimes it will be that one piece that reminds someone that they are truly wonderful. When that happens, what I do is art, and I am proud to be a part of it.
