Deb Glaubke Medium Photography and Ceremonial Art Email debglaubke@att.net Artist's Statement Deb is a graduate of the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, has worked as a freelance graphic designer in Chicago, and is a founder of Gallery in the Garden. Her photography focuses on human artifacts that are remnants of lives that have moved on, although she also photographs ephemeral natural phenomena – such as the frost patterns on her studio window. In addition to her photography, Deb creates personal ceremonial art using a combination of painting, constructions, and found objects. In particular, she creates personal altars and boxes to commemorate life passages. Deb is also a founder of Gallery In The Garden and is the garden's master gardener.
