I have always loved old jewelry and with circumstances in my life changing about four years ago, I have placed a lot more emphasis on creation of jewelry using semi-precious stones and wire-wrap.

Gemstone beads are a passion and I collect them. I love mixing the colors, textures, sizes, shapes of beads together for a one-of-a-kind necklace with matching accessories such as earrings or bracelet.

Although I am retired, I spend an awful lot of time on my craft and along with a few classes, I feel the constant need to improve. My favorite period of jewelry is from the Edwardian period to the end of the Art Deco period and some jewelry that was done in the 1940’s. I just love the detail of it and the attention paid to it.
