Rob grew up in Evanston, IL, and was inspired by his parents, both of whom are artists.

Deciding to pursue a career in art as well, he moved to NYC and earned a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute.There he discovered his passion for photography, and found synergy between his photographic and design sensibilities.

He considers his work to be “photographic still-lifes” and seeks to draw the viewer’s eye to aspects of the subject which might ordinarily be overlooked.

His journeys through urban and rural United States and Latin America reflect emotional as well as objective landscapes, and consist of images both natural and man-made.

Rob is a founder of Gallery In the Garden, and is an owner/creative director of a Manhattan design agency. He exhibits in New York and Chicago.
